Micro Climates
Based on patented JOA® technology, JOA® has realized advanced Micro climate™ technology for applications in plastic extruder plants.
JOA® Micro climate™ technology is based on realizing dedicated clean room areas around the extruder process (founded by fluent dynamics and computer simulations). By applying this technology, emissions are handled at the source creating optimal conditions around the sheet.

Impeding thermal activity near die
The thermal activity generated by the die is impeded by secondary extraction resulting in a stable air flow throughout the room which minimizes dispersion of contaminants. The right photo below shows an example of the JOA push & pull technology as created around the die. The middle section extracts the thermal ascending air. The plenums at both sides supply cooled clean air which descends and slowly warms up by the die, resulting in the thermal ascending flow.
