Containment Valves

In close co-operation with IMA (www.ima.it), JOA® has developed an effective solution to the dedusting / vacuum and cleaning of High Containment Valves (OEB 3 -5; up to 200 ng/m3), typically applied at open connection points (IBC docking – undocking) in high potent drug manufacturing.

In a classic Containment Valve set-up, individual vacuum lines with separate blowers and filters are connected to the valve. This approach not only requires significant capital, but also takes expensive floor space and can lead to unsafe operations as contaminants are collected at multiple locations.

The JOA® Central Dedusting and Vacuum Solution allows for central collection of the contaminants, resulting in less costs for equipment, by still giving you the process flexibility of multiple valves to be cleaned at the same time.
